Animal imagery is central to how we understand ourselves and the societies we inhabit. This exhibition examined that imagery through landscape, memory, and the stories and tropes carried forward from childhood — fables, folklore, and inherited symbols that continue to shape cultural identity.

Drawing on resonances from mythic traditions, the work considered how animals function as stand-ins for human traits: strength, vulnerability, cunning, loyalty, violence. The landscape became both setting and metaphor — a psychological as well as physical terrain.

Words and images were combined to create a readable visual narrative, unfolding across a series of corridors in the building. Each space operated like a chapter in a book, guiding the viewer through a sequential experience while allowing moments of pause, reflection, and immersion. Moving through the installation became an act of reading — not only of text and image, but of memory and association — inviting the audience to get lost within a layered and evolving story.
